I had the pleasure to stay at the Mondrian for my birthday a couple of days ago and I have to say, our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The Mondrian staff, and I'd like to especially mention the lovely Heiko here, really goes the extra mile! When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and got a surprise upgrade to our room, which was simply amazing. Thank you again, Heiko, for your lovely hospitality and warmth! The rooms' interior is very luxurious with bespoke artwork and dark wooden floors. Let's say you definitely feel special in that space. I'd like to highlight the hotel's very own steam showers, which has been a true blessing. I've tried many luxury hotels in London but have never come across one that has steam showers. If you like doing a favour to your health and skin, use this feature. :) At midnight, two lovely staff members came to our room and brought a bottle of wine and a beautifully written birthday card to congratulate me in person. They were so lovely and I can't thank them enough for making me feel so special as a guest, that's exactly how it should be. Thank you again for going the extra mile! I can also recommend the hotel's breakfast, which gives you bright and lovely views the morning after your stay as the cafe is at the rooftop of the hotel. Plus, the food and coffee was very delicious, I can recommend the Açai bowl here. :) Another big plus: Situated in what might be the coolest area of London, Shoreditch, the Mondrian is fantastically close to the area's best restaurants, entertainment hubs and public transport options. Just a short 3-minute walk away is the famous Brick Lane, and the surrounding streets are filled with quirky shops where you will find wonderful art, decoration or fashion pieces that you won't find anywhere else. To conclude: This hotel hits the 11 out of 10 and the Mondrian has just made it to the top of my favourite hotels in London. Thank you again!

Very friendly and helpful staff, reception were excellent on check in and especially at check out. We checked out at 06:25, the lady at reception had a black cab waiting for us and the check out completed with a print out for us when we arrived down. We had food and drink in BiBos tapas bar, the staff there were brilliant, in particular the manager, she was fantastic, always with a big smile, nothing was a problem creating a great fun and relaxed atmosphere. I'm sorry I can't recall her name. The food in the Tapas bar was good. The room wasn't big, but big enough. The design, quality and layout was very good. The shower was powerful enough, with a steamroom function. The room had a coffee maker, kettle, iron and hairdryer. The king size bed was extremely comfortable with good quality duvet and pillows.

Amazing hotel! The rooms were very spacious, with two seperate double beds and plenty of space to move around. The beds and pillows were one of the most comfortable we experienced on our European holiday. The bathroom was also very functional, with a large basin, heated floors and large shower. The hotel staff were very helpful, giving recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The hotels rooftop is also a nice place to wind down at the end of the day. Location wise, the hotel is walking distance to a few underground stations and markets. Plenty of pubs and restaurants are also nearby.

Demet

Loved the room, the location and the bar and restaurant. The bed was massive and the room and bathroom was immaculate and nice. This aspect met my expectations for a 5 star and we found ourselves preferring to drink, eat and relax in the hotel instead of venturing out a couple of times. Breakfast in Laurels on the Roof was exquisite. Every single member of staff was sound and pleasant. Particularly the bar staff in Christine's on the ground floor who were a delight.

Rebecca

Excellent location near wonderful restaurants, bars and pubs. 5-10 minute walks to different subway and bus stops. The room was small, but to be expected in London. The bed was exceptionally soft with great linens. The steam shower was a nice touch and welcomed after a day exploring the damp city. The restaurants in the hotel were great and the service excellent.
